METHOD

Soak tamarind and prepare puree about one and half glasses.

Heat a kadai with little oil. Add mustard seeds, red chillies ( cut into two) and ajwain seeds (omam).

After it splutters add curry leaves and tamarind puree. Then add sambhar powder,
turmeric powder and salt and allow it to boil and simmer till it  thickens. ( to the consistency of vatha kuzhambu )

If it is too watery, mix the rice flour with little water and add to the boiling kuzhambu.
